Build-A-Brad Bracelet, Part 2

February 17th, 2008 by Amanda

When I was at Leadership, I’d taken part in an Over-the-Top Wow! Swap. We were to create a project that could be used at a class that would take a lot of time and we could charge $20 to learn to make. Of course, my immediate thought was my Build-A-Brad bracelet I’d posted back in Nov. here with a Tutorial. But with the pressure of it having to be part of a $20 class, I thought I’d better pick it up a notch, so here’s what I came up with:

This time I used the Build-A-Brads and new Ginger Blossoms Designer Paper in conjunction with our Rhinestone Brads. MMMMwwwwah…muy bonita! For the box, I actually used the dimensions for the 6 long nugget box available at splitcoaststampers.com. I then adjusted the measurements some for the inside upside-down box that the bracelets been tucked into (the slits are made with our slit punch). The plastic top was clear acetate (or overhead projector sheets from the office store) with more adjusted measurements to the nugget box. Here’s a photo of the box opened:

The white images on the clear box top were rub ons from our Eastern Elegance rub ons. The box is so pretty, I just can’t seem to take the bracelet out to wear it. Sigh…I’ll just have to make me another bracelet!

This is incredible. If you hadn’t told me what it was made of I would never have guessed.
