Spooky Treats for Who?

With Halloween just days away, I’d better get a groove on and start sharing more Halloween projects in my blog entries! As much as I say I’m gonna, I  just can’t seem to post everyday like I used to! I’ve got some strategies in the fire for my upcoming classes that may help me get on track, but don’t hold your breath.  My November schedule has 3 to 4 events a week! Geesh–pray that I will survive! :o)

I cranked this cute box out of my Big Shot with the Stampin’ Up! Pouch die. And like the other projects I posted previously, I used the Cast-A-Spell Designer Series paper and Spooky Treats rub ons. For this project I punched an opening in the center of the pouch box using the Designer Label punch and then glued a small piece of Window sheet on the inside. For the final touch, I applied the Halloween Spooky Treats rub -on over the window sheet and designer paper and added a silver brad on each side! So EASY!

This is the last project from my Spooky Treats class. I made a cute little matchbook  project customized to the miniature bag of M&Ms. Just measure the width of a small M&Ms bag for the width of the matchbook and double the size of the length of the M&M bag plus add an inch for the length. Score one inch on one side and fold the card stock piece around your M&Ms and tuck into your one inch flap. (I punch a staple in about 1/4" which I covered with the Certainly Celery striped grosgrain ribbon. Add some more of the Cast-A-Spell Designer Series paper and the Spooky Treats rub ons on a white and celery layered label, adhere and you’re done!

Here’s the inside view:

Wish I had the time to make these for all the kids in the neighborhood! Ahh..but the schedule is just too tight! Maybe just for the neices and nephews? We’ll see! And yes, I will be eating the M&Ms in this pack NOW! Mmmmm!

My husband and I joked at our local WalMart store Sunday as we bought the "neighborhood" candy for Trick O’Treat night, "Who are we kidding, we’re really buying this for us. You know it will be gone before Friday!" Yes, we’ve made quite the dent into the bags–me with the Reese’s and he with the Kit Kats. Shame…shame! ….snicker…. Luckily we’re not into lollipops, Tootsie Rolls and Gummies! So never fear, the lil’ monsters will still have something. Just no chocolate! HA!

So now you are forewarned, don’t come begging for chocolate here Halloween night! We’ll be answering the doors with chocolate evidence on our face! Ta-ta for now!
